Hypex Bio is a unique Swedish civil explosives technology platform for a new type of commercial explosive aimed at the global mining and construction industries.
Our new explosive outperforms conventional alternatives and solves operational problems, currently limiting the mining and construction industries’ growth and efficiency and worth billions of dollars annually.
The technology eliminates significant, costly, and well-defined environmental issues associated with current explosives and provides substantial reductions in carbon dioxide emissions in the production process.
With procurement agreements with major international customers, we are now growing our team to help our customers achieve their commercial goals and sustainability ambitions by successfully transitioning to our technology.

About Hypex Bio Explosives Technology AB
Hypex Bio’s technology is unique, patent-protected, and proven in commercial mining and construction environments. The environmental and health benefits are proven by customers and the market demand is enormous.
In Scandinavia, Hypex Bio provides the explosive solution and associated equipment directly to end customers. The company also provides training, support and advice. To date, Hypex Bio has delivered three factories and several delivery systems, as well as hundreds of tons of commercial explosives.
Outside of the Nordics, Hypex Bio’s business model is to provide a technology platform to partners for the manufacture and delivery of Hypex emulsion explosives. The technology platform consists of process equipment, such as factories, charging equipment, transfer systems and proprietary chemical products that constitute key production inputs. Everything is designed in Sweden.
The business model has been proven in Scandinavia and globally through multi-year contracts with large customers and partners.
